A Sincere Thankyou
I want to thank those of you that have followed me over here to this new blog: Kyle, Swiss Bob, Mario, Fraser and Jim who have encouraged me by siging up as followers plus others I know are also following my posts.
I want to offer an explanation for my actions as I'm sure many must be thinking I'm a serial blog changer, which isn't so.
When I first set up ukwebspider it was to provide a news service to the uk bloggers and others, and in some way try to inform those bloggers and readers to important news stories. After a few months it became apparent that I simply couldn't keep up with the flow of information so I set out looking for help and started the uk news network and while initial interest was strong it finally tapered off. I did want to find 2 or 3 similar minded people to create a UK independent news service but after many appeals it became apparent to me that it wasn't going to happen. For the last month I've become disillusioned with the endevour and started to rethink the whole approach.
I was greatly encouraged by the donations which tally £170 and to those that donated I'm very grateful, the donations are still in the account and I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm inclined to leave it sitting there as perhaps in the future I might get a concrete offer of help and will have the funds to buy a domain and set up a site but if any of the donators want their donation returned please just email and I'll send it back.
With this new blog I'm not going to try and post every news story that has a bearing on the UK or every geopolitical and financial story that impacts us all, instead I'm going to be far more selective and only post stories of real importance, I might not post as much but what I will post will be important.
I simply don't have the time to cover evey story, I have a young daughter and long suffering wife, who I should devote more time too, and will try too, but I will do my best to keep you informed with whatever I can find of importance.
Many Thanks and Sincerest Best Wishes
Dave
